Seasonal Gift Wrapper – Part-Time

We’ve been outfitting folks since 1972, and our Virginia Beach team is proud to serve a diverse community of adventurers, visitors, families, and outdoor enthusiasts. Our product mix spans outdoor sportswear, footwear, travel gear, hiking, backpacking, kayaking, canoeing, and fly fishing. 

What We’re Looking For  

We’re seeking energetic, reliable, and outdoor-loving teammates to join our sales floor crew and help with wrapping gifts. We will help you learn our signature brand of gift wrapping, but previous skill is a necessity. You should enjoy helping people, engaging in outdoor activities, working with a team, and staying active in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be ready to stay busy with wrapping, prepping gift bags, making bows, and restocking supplies for 5-8 hours focusing on the middle of the day. 

Key Responsibilities  

• Wrap gifts for customers as they’re sold by sales staff 

• Greet and serve customers with warmth and attentiveness 

• Maintain the stocking and tidiness of the gift wrapping station 

• Making bows and pre-stuffed gift bags during down time 

• Lift, move, and organize boxes of supplies 

• Communicate clearly and proactively with teammates and managers 

• Take initiative and contribute to a friendly, inclusive, and helpful shop culture

Details & Requirements  

• Schedule : Part time staff work a maximum of 30 hours per week. Flexibility of schedule is a necessity, as staff usually does not work the same schedule week to week. Gift wrapping shifts usually range from 5 to 8 hours each and focus around the middle part of the day. 

• Holiday Store Hours :
  
  • Mon–Fri: 10am–8pm
    
  • Sat: 9am-8pm
    
  • Sun: 11am-6pm 

CLOSED: Thanksgiving & Christmas Day 

(hours of operation are more variable during holidays; calendar of specific changes available)
