Traveling Project Manager – Industrial / Manufacturing / Mission Critical

Location: Nationwide | On-site at Assigned Project

We’re partnering with an established General Contractor seeking a Project Manager to lead $100M+ industrial, manufacturing, and mission critical construction projects across the U.S.

You’ll take ownership from preconstruction and buyout through construction and turnover-working on-site alongside your Superintendent to lead the team, manage project financials, and keep work moving. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys complex construction, building strong client relationships, and having a direct hand in how a project comes together.

What You’ll Do:

\n
• Own project budgets, schedules, cost forecasting, and overall delivery from planning through closeout.
\n
• Lead bidding, subcontractor selection, scope development, contract negotiations, and procurement.
\n
• Partner with field leadership to plan construction sequencing, resolve challenges, and maintain safety and quality standards.
\n
• Manage change orders, pay applications, and project risks while keeping owners informed.
\n
• Lead owner and subcontractor meetings and develop Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.
\n

What They’re Looking For:

\n
• 5+ years of Project Manager experience with a General Contractor
\n
• Experience managing industrial, manufacturing, or mission critical construction, with exposure to $100M+ projects
\n
• A strong foundation in estimating, buyout, project financials, and scheduling
\n
• Ability to lead teams, work through complex problems, and build lasting client and trade relationships
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
\n
• Willingness to travel nationwide and work on-site for project assignments
\n
